"I spent practically every summer day of my childhood there. I have good memories of playing sharks and minnows in the deepend, having diving competitions, races and just playing to play. I know how lucky we were to have the pool for entertainment and I can not imagine my childhood without it. Good Times!"

Madi Marburger and Rylie Donahe set up a lemonade/bake sale stand to raise money for the pool during the annual Gowrie Garage Sales . The girls then brought the money that they raised, $89.18, into Security Savings Bank, who in turn matched those funds!!!
THANK YOU!!!

"My sisters and I went to the pool almost daily every summer, and loved every minute of it! Sometimes I hear old songs that I refer to as "swimming pool songs" because we used to hear them at the pool. Just thinking about this has me hungry for bottlecaps and laffy taffy"
- Dan Mitsven
"I was a teenager when it was built and we would go swimming after hours (early AM). I beleive I was in the pool before it actually opened. Late nite swims were a tradition for many years."
